Keeping a keen eye on the traffic heading north east on Gratiot Avenue entering the Eastern Market is the "Dreamers" mural. Public art, or "graffiti" if that is your preferred nomenclature, is a big part of the Eastern Market experience. Thankfully, this is something embraced and not frowned upon in Detroit. California based Creator Jeff Soto & ‘Maxx242’ participated in the first annual Murals In The Market in September of 2015. There were 38 total pieces part of the 2015 event. The second annual event is slated for September of 2016.
